Questionare 1

How is your child feeling about the project as of now?

Do you feel that they will gain interest or lose interest? Why or why not?

What have you done with the materials in the bag?

Do you feel that more guidance is needed?

How do you feel about the project as a whole?

Do you think it will have any affect on how you view literacy in your household?

What can be added or taken away to make improvements on this project?

  1. 1. He enjoys it. Loves doing the crafts most of all.

    2. I do feel that my son has gained more interest in reading books himself because of some of the material given has made him feel confident about sounding out words and ready on his own.

    3. We've read most of the books. Some of them don't keep his interest as the others do. I believe it's because of the illustrations.

    4. We've used the pipe cleaners to make stick people and animals. Butterflies with the popsicle sticks, puff balls and pipe cleaners.

    5. I don't feel more guidance is needed. Everything is pretty much self explanatory and with a little imagination, you can do anything with it.

    6. I like what we were given. The kids enjoy it and it also gives us as a family something to do together rather than play board games or video games...

    7. It's made both my kids want to get involved in books more than normal. Instead of me reading to them, they now go and pick books out and read to themselves. If they can't read it well, they male up their own story.

    8. Given their age, maybe a couple more easy books. There is one book in there my son can read co we to cover. He does try with the others but I feel he could expand his reading vocabulary if there were a few more easy books.

    I don't know how I answered 8 questions when there's 7..lol
    You get the idea.
